Job Title: Capture Manager
Job Description: The Capture Manager is a marketing communications professional who leads efforts to develop and write capture plans and proposals for key opportunities valued at $1M+ or those that are identified as strategic pursuits. Working with the Capture Sector Leader (CSL), the Capture Manager leads pre-marketing activities and capture plan meetings and manages production of proposals and orals related to key pursuits. The Capture Manager manages capture sector SharePoint sites (for resource information and proposals) and the Salesforce pipeline (ensuring opportunities in the Step system are accurately identified, updated, and elevated to receive attention, as necessary). The Capture Manager’s time will be spent approximately 80 percent on capture planning for specific opportunities and preparation of proposals; 10 percent on pipeline maintenance and updating; and 5 percent on administration of the SharePoint capture site, including identifying trends in the sector, long-term financing, and regulatory impacts.
